Three reasons to move to the Cloud

Extensive research and study show that just in 2020, 83% of the workload at the enterprise level was done over the cloud. A business that is not scalable to meet customer demand on command is a recipe for disaster. Our workspace is slowly being digitalised and companies falling behind are not going to do very well in the future. That’s a proven fact and is being highlighted in business statics. Moving to the cloud is a great idea if you haven’t already as we are on the verge of technology. Guess no further convention is needed but still, we’ll give you some ideas on why you should consider the cloud-based business model.

Scalability

Having essential server space, resources, and computing power whenever necessary falls under scalability. Strategy supporting financial and business are also in the same context. It is necessary to have a larger capacity than necessary all the time for many reasons. You may encounter rapid business growth but to withstand this pressure, scalability requirements must be met.

This is where the cloud comes in handy. It doesn’t matter what level are you on with a running business. Sudden traffic may arise, and to utilise demand properly cloud solutions are the best. Our purpose is to serve more customers and solve more problems. If we think of overnight success, it doesn’t come very often. And when it comes, we have to stay prepared. This is one of the sole reasons, we recommend cloud-based services as they are financially good too. If you need more space to meet demand at a certain time, the cloud can do that. It offers more flexibility and at the same time cost-effective.

Automation & Security

Automation doesn’t necessarily mean automatically upgrading services, which can cost more money. But automating gives the flexibility of manually adding features and functions that can boost performance levels on cloud-based platforms. Setting a custom threshold when there is a request for more access, calculating traffic, purchase, and install requests. At these moments’ automation boosts performance and productivity. The system scales up and down based on real-time performance. Sometimes it is scheduled and sometimes it's solely based on requests. If your business is not on the cloud, this option is not available for you and you’re missing out.

On the other hand, the cloud is more secured than the local platforms or letting someone else handle the tasks manually. A survey done on businesses on the cloud reported that there is a 94% increase in security after migrating to the cloud. Why Cloud is secure? It goes through encryptions, has transit and disaster management built-in. No one has access but the admin and has all the features necessary to manage and upgrade whenever needed.

Future-Proofing

One of the most satisfying features of going cloud is that it has many features for future-proofing a business. Business owners and workers can leverage the extra time on reaching out for more extensive measures to expand the business. While it runs on a set of rules in the cloud. Faster collaboration, support for remote work & improved data accessing are a few key benefits. There are plenty of tools and software for remote business and strategy monitorisation. We can utilise it to increase opportunities to grow. PaaS, IaaS, DaaS, BPaaS to name a few. Revolutionising business on the cloud gives more opportunity and we need all the drastic measures to stay competitive.
