Arrow Electronics signs a new distribution agreement with Citrix for North America and Europe

Arrow Electronics, a leading distributor of electronic components and enterprise computing solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with Citrix, a provider of cloud-based solutions for secure application and data access. Under the terms of the agreement, Arrow will assume responsibility for the sales, marketing, and technical support of Citrix solutions for service provider channel partners consuming fewer than 2,000 licenses in North America and Europe.

This partnership represents a significant expansion for Arrow's portfolio of technology solutions, particularly in the areas of virtual application delivery, desktop virtualization, and network access control. By offering Citrix's products and services, Arrow can provide its customers with comprehensive solutions to meet their digital workspace needs and drive business growth.

For service provider channel partners (previously managed under Citrix’s service provider programs), this new arrangement offers increased enablement, flexibility, and support in how they consume and manage their Citrix licenses.

Citrix Channel Transformation

Citrix has made substantial changes to its channel strategy this year, including a shift to an annually committed model, which better aligns with long-term customer and partner investments.

The strategic partnership between Arrow and Citrix is expected to commence on October 1, 2024.
