HPE launches two new cloud offerings to address data sovereignty needs
HPE has introduced two new products designed to address data sovereignty concerns: HPE Private Cloud Enterprise Disconnected and HPE Alletra Storage MP Disconnected. The new innovations were announced during CEO Antonio Neri's keynote at HPE Discover Barcelona 2024.These solutions are specifically tailored for organizations in regulated industries such as government, healthcare, and defense, where managing highly sensitive data requires stringent compliance with local and regional regulations.
HPE is placing a strong emphasis on channel partnerships to deliver its sovereign cloud capabilities. The solutions will be available through HPE’s Partner Ready Vantage program, with partners required to earn the HPE Sovereignty Competency. This certification demonstrates expertise in using HPE GreenLake cloud to deploy secure, private cloud environments either in hosted settings or customer data centers.
Training resources will be available through the Managed Services Center of Expertise within the HPE Partner Ready Vantage program.
“Data sovereignty is no longer just a regulatory requirement. It is a business imperative,” said Neri during his keynote. “Starting in Europe, partners can create sovereign cloud capabilities that address local, regional, and industry-specific regulations.”
