Kaseya announces 365 Suite expansion and SaaS Alerts acquisition during DattoCon 2024

Kaseya, a leading IT management and cybersecurity software provider, made some major announcements during its annual DattoCon event in Miami Beach. The company introduced the Kaseya 365 User service, acquired cybersecurity firm SaaS Alerts, and revealed additional AI-driven product enhancements and strategic investments.

Expanding Kaseya 365 with New User Version

To begin with, Kaseya announced the launch of a User version of its Kaseya 365 service, building on the original Kaseya 365 Endpoint version released earlier this year. While the Endpoint version focused on securing devices, Kaseya 365 User protects user identity and data.

With this addition, MSPs can now provide comprehensive protection at both the endpoint and user levels within a single subscription.

SaaS Alerts acquisition

In addition to unveiling Kaseya 365 User, Kaseya announced its acquisition of SaaS Alerts, a company known for its technology to monitor and secure customers' SaaS applications. As more companies rely on SaaS platforms, SaaS Alerts’ capabilities provide crucial monitoring and protection against threats to these cloud-based solutions.

Kaseya plans to integrate SaaS Alerts into the Kaseya 365 User subscription at no additional cost, giving MSPs a cost-effective way to secure the expanding SaaS environment.

“Our mission is to make our partners more profitable by providing them a platform that offers more AI-based automation than otherwise available, and at a fraction of the cost.” Kaseya CEO Fred Voccola expressed the company’s vision behind these advancements. “When we launched Kaseya 365 Endpoint earlier this year, the market response was astounding. Our goal from the beginning of our journey was to ensure our MSP partners get the recognition and financial benefits that match the enormous value they provide to SMBs around the world.”

Additional Product Enhancements and Investments

Beyond Kaseya 365, the company announced several key initiatives aimed at optimizing MSP operations:

Backup Concierge Program: Kaseya is investing $10 million into its Backup Concierge Program, which provides MSPs with greater control and flexibility over their backup services.

Unified Auditing Platform: Kaseya revealed plans to combine Network Detective Pro and audIT, two tools it acquired last year, into a single platform.

AI-Driven PSA Tools: Kaseya’s PSA (Professional Services Automation) tools, BMS, and Autotask, are being upgraded with AI-powered features. Key enhancements include a Smart Ticket Summary tool, a Smart Writing Assistant, and a Smart Resolution Summary

These announcements showcase Kaseya’s focus on strengthening the tools available to MSPs, aligning with its goal to offer cost-effective, powerful solutions that drive profitability.
